Keells Range of sausages






John Keells Foods India PVT LTD, one of Sri Lanka’s leading player in processed frozen meats category, has launched its Keells range of sausages in India. The range has been introduced in India keeping in mind the evolving food habits. Keells sausages are conveniently pre-cooked, requiring only heating or shallow frying before serving. The range includes chicken and pork sausages in flavored variants like garlic, cheese onion, cocktail, chicken Bockwurst, chicken breakfast sausage and pork breakfast sausages.

Varieties of Keells sausages

· CHICKEN SKINLESS SAUSAGE - Made from ground chicken mixed with spices and binders.

· CHICKEN CHEESE & ONION - Cheese and Onion pieces embedded in a chicken base.

· CHICKEN GARLIC SAUSAGE – A delicious Chicken sausage made of boneless chicken and garlic covered in a hog casing.

· CHICKEN COCKTAIL SAUSAGE – Chicken sausages mainly to be served as a snack with potato fingers or on a cocktail stick.

· CHICKEN BOCKWURST SAUSAGE - A mild German sausage made from pure chicken and seasoned with authentic spices.

· CHICKEN BREAKFAST SAUSAGE - A Chicken sausage made from seasoned ground meat, perfect as for breakfast or a snack.

· PORK SAUSAGE - Ground meat combined with fat, flavorings, and preservatives, and then stuffed into a casing and twisted at intervals to make links.

· PORK BREAKFAST SAUSAGE – Made from seasoned ground meat, it makes a delicious breakfast dish.

· PORK BRATWURST SAUSAGE - Made of pork, spices & herbs, sometimes without a casing, usually served lightly fried or grilled.

Keells Sausage Rice Recipe











INGREDIENTS
300 g packet of keells chicken skinless sausages. - cut into slices
1 Kg Basmathi or Samba - pre cooked
3 pods garlic - cleaned and finely cooked
100 gms large Onion - cleaned washed and chopped
100 gms carrots - peeled washed and cut into dices
150 gms young com - cut into slices
100 gms capsicum - seedless and cut into dices
100 gms spring Onion - Cleaned, washed and cut rings
25 gms coriander leaves - Cleaned washed and chopped
Salt, Chillie pieces, Fish sauce - To taste
5-6 drops sesame oil
3-4 tbsp oil
PROCEDURE
Heat a wok or shallow frying pan, add oil, fry little garlic and
sausages together and remove sausages from the pan and
keep a side. Heat the same pan, add oil, fry garlic and cook
carrots, onion and young com. Add cooked sausages, mix well.
Add salt, fish sauce and chili pieces according to your choice.
Put cooked rice and mix well. Finally check the salt, fish sauce
mix sesame oil, add capsicum spring onions, coriander leaves,
mix well and remove from the heat. Transfer the sausage rice
into a serving oval platter and serve hot with other
accompaniments.
